Hunter Divisions

Short Stirrup Open to riders 12 years of age and under. Open to riders who have not previously shown over fences 2’ or higher. Two year eligibility. Rider may cross enter into age group equitation (where fences do not exceed 2’) and pleasure

Long Stirrup Open to riders 13 years of age and older. Same specifications as Short Stirrup.

Pre-Green Open to all horses and ponies in their first year of showing over fences 2’ or higher. Adults may show ponies. Fences 2’3”

Child/Adult Open to all horses and ponies ridden by a junior or amateur. Horse Rider combination may not cross enter into Junior Amateur Hunter. Fences 2’9”

Junior/Amateur Open to all horses and ponies ridden by a junior or amateur. Horse/Rider combination may not cross enter into Child/Adult Fences 3'.

Pre Child/Adult Open to alll horses and ponies ridden by a junior or amateur. Horse/Rider combination may not cross enter into Child/Adult or Junior/Amateur

Junior/Amateur. Riders may not show over fences higher than 2'6".

Open Hunter Open to all riders and all horses or ponies Fence height either 2’6” or 3.

Pony Hunter Open to all ponies ridden by junior riders. Small ponies must measure under 12.2 hands. Medium ponies between 12.2 and 13.2 and large ponies between 13.2 and 14.2 hands. Fence heights 2’; 2’3”; 2’6”.

Equitation Divisions

Walk Trot Open to beginner riders of any age. Riders may not have shown in a canter class before the start of this year. May cross enter into

Advanced Walk Trot Canter Open to all beginner riders. Rider may cross enter into Cross Bar Equitation, Beginner Cross Bar. Martingales allowed

Beginner Walk Trot Canter Open to beginner riders of any age. May cross enter into Walk Trot only. Martingales allowed

Cross Bar Equitation Open to beginner riders of any age who have not shown over fences higher than cross bar before the start of this year. Riders may cross enter Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Age group equitation on the flat, and pleasure horse/pony. Martingales are permitted. Simple lead changes are not penalized.

Beginner Cross Bar- Judged as a hunter class.  Open to all. Scored as a "blue/red" class.  Course may be trotted or cantered.
